John J. Redmond

Growing up in the Tidewater area of Southeastern Virginia, John always had a devoted interest in the construction and design fields. His career in construction sales began in the early 1990’s for Ted Lansing Corporation and ABC Supply Company covering the territories of the Outer Banks region of North Carolina and Tidewater, Virginia respectively.
Upon leaving the wholesale supply end of the construction chain, John wanted to move into the manufacturing sector and took a position with Pella Virginia as a Trade Sales Representative, specializing in custom remodeling in the Hampton, Newport News, and Williamsburg markets.

In order to gain experience in the home improvement contracting side of the business, John served as General Sales Manager of Tidewater Exteriors, LLC, a $15 million remodeler and one of the largest home improvement companies on the east coast. This position allowed him to utilize his creativity in sales and marketing while diversifying the company’s product and services offerings.

John and his wife picked up and moved to the Triad area, where he took the position of General Sales Manager at New Home Building Supply, a custom millwork supplier in Greensboro, NC.

John fulfilled a lifelong dream in opening Home Energy Solutions of the Triad, LLC and joined forces with Jay Gardner (COO) to form a highly innovative and cutting edge home performance contracting organization that will permanently change the home improvement industry in the Triad. John is certified by the Building Performance Institute as Building Analyst, by RESNET as Home Energy Specialist I and II, and is an EcoBroker Certified Affiliate. He also holds NC certification as a Lead Paint Renovator.

He lives in Greensboro, NC with his beautiful wife, Wendy and their three dogs Kobe, Alley, and Bailey. In his free time, John enjoys all sports, including baseball and golf, and creating home projects around the house.
